Ottawa Sting U11A defeated the Vikings 4 West of Beauce-
Appalaches 7 to 1 on Sunday, February 8th to win the 61st edition of
11U BB Mousquiri tournament in Richmond, QC. The Sting finished 2nd
in round-robin play behind the favored Vikings.
The Sting beat the Mustangs de Ille Perrot in the Quarterfinals
and the Laval West Cobras in the Semi-Finals setting up the championship game
with the Vikings. Strong goaltending throughout the competition and determined
2-way play by all the team brought the boys the tournament title.
Members of the winning team are Jacob Kent, Cole Murphy, Edouard Beal Quimet, Zachary Boileau, Henry Hoew, Patrick McCarthy Powers, Ethan Yang, Pierce Williams, William Stiell, Oscar Boloenko, Luke Boudreau, Charlie Steeves, Beckett Howes-Chande, Owen Page, Noah Elfaro, Kiran Wiens, James Boldt and Gustav Holmes.
