In order to take advantage of all the dashboard league management tools, an Apple iPad is the only way to score games.
The reason for Apple is :
- Apple continuously supports older equipment as new hardware is introduced
- High quality and reliability of the Apple Hardware product
- User experience is assured - the software will work as expected on any model iPad
- There is no way to ensure that all different Android devices from dozens of manufacturers will run the software as it should
- 1 software version covers all models, everyone is using the same software, allowing the users a guaranteed experience
- Different Android devices can require their own versions of the software - making it essentially impossible to keep all versions up to date with the latest improvements.
However, our dashboard and stats are available on any device.
Within the past year, Apple has pushed us to distribute the scoring app through the app store, instead of on our own enterprise account. As a result of this, the app store also requires apps on the store to operate on at least iOS13. You will need a newer iPad that can get to iOS13, ,or newer (is better).
